Unfortunately we had to relocate the original recycling site from Keats Close car park, to Sea Road, this was considered to be the best alternative in terms of proximity from the previous site and therefore convenience for the residents who used that site. The recycling site will be trialled in its new location for a period of three months, after which a decision will be made as to whether this is in fact a suitable location. We have offered to meet with residents in the area to discuss their concerns during the trial period; concerns risen will obviously be taken into consideration when deciding whether or not to make the new site permanent. I hope that helps!
Progress is now being made to find a better more suitable home for glass recycling in the West St. Leonards Area, watch out for more information shortly.
